Hybrid Stepper Motors
HIGH PRECISION
MOONS’ HIGH PRECISION stepper motors have a very high resolution due to the number of rotor teeth being doubled (from 50 to 100).
The pitch angle is 0.9˚, which is half that of standard motors (which is 1.8˚).
In addition to the smoother movement, the precision of movement that can be counted on is double that of a standard stepper motor

1 – Resonance zones are avoided
Compared to the 1.8° motor, when using the motor with 0.9° pitch angle, the working frequency of the motor is doubled and can be configured so that it does not fall into resonance zones, thus avoiding vibrations. As a result, the 0.9° stepper motor runs more smoothly and generates less noise.
2 – Customisation: Connection systems
You can choose between different types of connection, our motors can be equipped with an on-board connector or have outgoing cables of any length, with or without connector. The information below refers to STANDARD products, if you do not find the ideal configuration please contact us, all our components are customisable!
3 – Customisations: Drive shaft
You can request customisations for the crankshaft and any pulley or gear. You can choose the MATERIAL, LENGTH and DIAMETER of the shaft. There are many possible configurations, for example the shaft can be: Cross-drilled – Single flat – Double flat – Keyed – Knurled – Notched – Hollow or with specific pulleys or sprockets. We do not sell components, we provide SOLUTIONS. Our stepper motors can be customised according to your needs; an ENCODER, a REDUCER, a BRAKE or a DRIVE can be fitted (versions with electronics already integrated in the motor are also available, visit the page).
